WASHINGTON (WUSA) -- An eye opening exhibition is coming to D.C. this fall. It's called "The Scar Project" and it features breast cancer survivors baring their scars.
The gritty and graphic photographs show the many faces of breast cancer and how it affects their bodies.
We want to warn you the pictures are graphic but the scar models say they're important in the fight against breast cancer.
The Scar Project will be in the District October 1st through October 7th at 10 a.m.
