WASHINGTON, DC (WUSA)--- Amtrak says riders should expect some residual delays after Sunday morning's disruption between Washington and Philadelphia.

Train service was restored along the popular Northeast Corridor around 1:30pm Sunday. A broken cable on a bridge near Aberdeen, MD had created delays as long as 3 hours for some passengers.
