Natalie Hernandez Lopez, 8, was killed when her mother's SUV struck her
(WUSA) -- Prince George's County Police have an update on the conditions of the children who survived an SUV crash in Lewisdale last week.
Police say Monday morning, the 2-year-old son of Marianable Cruz-Lopez as well as a a 6-year-old boy and 7-year-old girl were discharged and are recovering at home.
A 10-year-old boy remains in the hospital in critical condition, but police say his condition is improving.
Police say Marianable Cruz-Lopez struck five children on Thursday while backing into her driveway. According to police, Cruz-Lopez did not see the five children and hit the gas pedal instead of the brake. Family friends say that Cruz-Lopez' daughter, 8-year-old Natalie Hernandez Cruz Lopez, was hit by falling bricks. She passed away at the hospital on Friday.
