WASHINGTON (WUSA) -- DC Police are looking for two suspects who attacked a cab driver in Northwest, one of three stabbing victims recovering after three separate attacks in the District overnight.
Police tell 9 NEWS NOW the cab driver was stabbed in the abdomen by two suspects he had picked up as fares. The attack happened in the 500 block of Kennedy Street around 1:19 Friday morning. The victim was conscious when he was taken to a local hospital and is expected to recover.
Earlier in the night DC Police officers responded to another stabbing attack at 7th and H Street NW. That's where they found another man with a stab wound to the abdomen around 12:30 a.m. Police say the victim's injury is considered non-life-threatening.
Officials say the first attack in the District occurred in the 500 block of Parkland Place in Southeast where a woman was stabbed in the shoulder just after 10:00 p.m. Right now police have no information to release on her assailant.
The investigations into all three incidents are ongoing.
