Intruders Order Residents To Disrobe During Burglary

STAFFORD COUNTY, Va. (WUSA) - Two masked intruders broke into a home and ordered the residents to disrobe and accompany the intruders as they removed items from the home, according to the Stafford County Sheriff's Office.

Sheriff Charles Jett of the Stafford County Sheriff's Office told 9news Now that at about 12:30 a.m., two residents of a home in the Wide Water Village section of the county were awakened by two masked intruders.

Jett said the men had gained entry to the home through a basement window and one of the men was armed with a knife.

The couple was ordered from their bed and into their garage with the two intruders got some tape and rope.

The couple was then ordered to the basement along with their 10 1/2 old child and the intruders than taped the couples mouth shut, Jett said.

The couple was then ordered back upstairs where they were ordered to disrobe and was escorted around their home while the two men stole several items including computer equipment, cash and a digital camera.

The couple was then ordered back downstairs where they were bound and locked in a room.

The couple was able to free themselves about an hour later. They put on clothes and then went to a neighbors for help and called 911 from there.

Police are looking for two black males in their late teens to early 20s wearing black sweatshirts, blue jeans and their faces were covered with blue bandanas.
