NEW CARROLLTON, Md. (WUSA) -- Washington Redskins fans are talking about Robert Griffin III after the team officially drafted RG III. The buzz is huge, and 9News Now's Delia Goncalves got their reaction Friday morning.
Among the fans was James Banks, who said he's a lifelong fan of the Redskins and welcomes RG III to the team.
"I think he can be a great asset to the football team. He's fast, he's quick, he seems to be a very intelligent player as well," Banks told Delia Goncalves.
Banks also says that he thinks RGIII will do well and will help the Redskins. "I think the Redskins need a push right now because past years they haven't really had that push they need," said Banks.
He added, "I believe the Redskins are a great team. I think they have the tools to be even greater and I think with RG III that might give them just exactly what they need to move forward."
