WASHINGTON (WUSA) -- Millions of dollars are at stake for colleges and universities around the country in the Honda Campus All-Star Challenge. In its 23rd year, the national quiz championship has students vying to win grant money for their schools.
Allan Reynolds from Howard University and Jafar Huger from The University of the District of Columbia joined us Wednesday morning to tell us more about this competition. You can watch the full interview above.
The academic competition takes place from March 30 to April 3 in Los Angeles, California. Students from 48 Historically Black Colleges and Universities will compete to win $50,000 in grant money. Howard University has participated every year since the program started while UDC has participated 21 years.
