Metro Crime Report: Deanwood Station Is Most Dangerous

WASHINGTON (WUSA) -- The Deanwood Metro station on the Orange Line is Metro's most dangerous.

The Washington Examiner reports the station in Northeast had 67 crimes classified as "part one" or serious crimes. That list includes assaults, burglaries, rapes, and car thefts.

Number two on the most dangerous list is the Anacostia station on the Green Line. That station is followed by L'Enfant Plaza, Suitland, and College Park.

When it comes to the most safe stations: five stations had no reports of "serious" crimes: Arlington Cemetery, Clarendon, Eisenhower Avenue, Farragut West, and Virginia Square.
