Rolando Augusto Liriano, charged with illegally wearing, carrying, or transporting a handgun in a vehicle, third and fourth degree sex offense, false imprisonment, and first and second degree assault in Prince George's County
UPPER MARLBORO, Md. (WUSA) -- The Prince George's County Sheriff's Department says a man has been arrested for allegedly sexually abusing and threatening to kill a former girlfriend.
According to a Feb. 6 arrest warrant, Rolando Augusto Liriano got into a physical altercation with an ex-girlfriend whom he sexually abused and threatened to kill.
Police said Liriano allegedly used a handgun to hold the victim against her will for approximately three hours, while he sexually assaulted her. They also said he threatened to kill the woman if she did not drop an active protective order and pending domestic violence related charges against him.
Sheriff deputies found Liriano at a location in Silver Spring, Md., and took him into custody.
He is charged with illegally wearing, carrying, or transporting a handgun in a vehicle, third and fourth degree sex offense, false imprisonment, and first and second degree assault.
Liriano is being held on $175,000 bond at the Prince George's County Department of Corrections.
