WASHINGTON, DC (WUSA)--9 Wants to Know what government officials are doing about a local liquor store that is selling alcohol to underage kids.

Last week reporter Andrea McCarren did a story on the Town Square Market on MacArthur Boulevard in Northwest. In an undercover investigation, our cameras captured video of teenagers walking out of the store with booze.

We alerted Metropolitan Police to this store two months ago, when our investigation began. We also alerted ABRA--DC's alcohol control board.

For the past few days 9NEWS NOW has been asking DC Police Chief Cathy Lanier for an interview, she has not taken us up on the offer. We also asked to talk with someone from ABRA. But they tell us they can't comment. We also put in a request to talk with Councilmember Mary Cheh (D-Ward 3).  She hasn't been available either. Town Square Market is in Cheh's district.

However, DC Councilmember Jim Graham is talking!  Graham chairs the Human Services Committee which oversees DC's alcohol control board-ABRA.
