Tyrone Lewis of Ft. Washington, Third Suspect Arrested In Lenny Harris Murder
PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY (WUSA) - A third suspect in the murder of Alexandria activist Lenny Harris has been arrested, according to Prince George's County Police.
Tyrone Lewis, 26, of Ft. Washington, Md.,was arrested on Monday, the same day as Harris's funeral. Police believe that Lewis is the man seen on surveillance video using Harris's ATM card shortly after Harris disappeared last fall.
Lewis has been in custody since October, being held in Alexandria on an unrelated car theft charge,
The body of Harris, who had been missing for three months, was discovered in a Ft. Washington well last week on an abandoned property in the area where Lewis lives.
Police say they are still looking for the person who made an anonymous call alerting them to Harris's body in the well.
