MANASSAS, Va. (WUSA) -- Prince William County fire authorities say
no one was injured in a Manassas house fire on Thursday night but $175,000 worth of damage was caused to the house and a boat.
At approximately 10:30 p.m. Thursday, fire and rescue personnel responded to a fire in a home in the 9700 block of King George Drive.
Before the smoke detectors went off, fire officials say the homeowner heard a loud pop and went to investigate the noise. The homeowner found the fire and told other family members, who all left the home.
No one was hurt.
Damages to the house and a boat parked next to the home are estimated at $175,000.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
