UPPER MARLBORO, Md. (WUSA) -- Police made an arrest Tuesday, in connection to the body they found in well last Thursday in Fort Washington.

Linwood Johnson, 49, of Oxon Hill, is now in custody and being charged with crimes in connection to the death of Lenwood "Lenny" Harris, 53, of Alexandria, police said.

Harris's body was recovered from the well on Saturday, three days after a tipster lead police to a well on the 11900 block of Old Fort Road near Flagship Avenue.

Harris had been missing for three months, before his body was found in the well, police said.

Prince George's County Police say more arrests are about to be made, so they didn't give a lot of details about their investigation.

Police did say they recovered, what they believe, is the murder weapon in the crime, a handgun.

They also say Johnson gave a full written and verbal confession during interrogation.
