WASHINGTON (WUSA) -- Metropolitan Police Department Detectives have announced that an arrest has been made in the bank robbery that occurred at the United Bank in the 1800 block of Eye Street, NW on Friday morning.
Police say that on Friday around 9:00 a.m. a black male entered the United Bank and passed a note to the teller announcing a robbery. The teller at United Bank complied and the suspect left with an undisclosed amount of money, according to police.
Metropolitan Police received a tip about the identity of the suspect and after investigation the suspect was identified as 40-year-old Bryan Keith Wright of Clinton, MD. According to police, Wright was arrested in Triangle, Virginia and charged with robbery.
