WASHINGTON (WUSA) -- The Pearl Harbor Day Ceremony at the World War II Memorial has been cancelled because of rain, according to the National Park Service.
"This is the event which was scheduled to begin at 1:53 p.m. Separately, the National Park Service will place its wreath in front of the Field of Gold Stars at 1:53 p.m. today. Please note the rest of the planned ceremony has been cancelled," the Park Service said in a news release.
The ceremony has not been rescheduled, according to the park service.
