BETHESDA, Md., (WUSA) -- Parents may want to take stock of your child's toy chests.

Little Tikes is recalling more than a million of its workshop and tool set toys.

The plastic nails can pose a choking hazard to young children.

The sets were sold between 1990 and 2004.  This is an expansion of a 2009 recall when Little Tikes pulled over a million products with similar toy nails.

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission urges parents and caregivers to remove the toy nails away from young children and contact the firm for a free replacement toy nails.

Consumers can call Little Tikes at 800-321-0183 between 8:00 am and 8:00 pm ET Monday through Friday.

Or go the firm's website at www.littletikes.com.
