WASHINGTON (WUSA) -- A Tenlytown burger joint is doing its part to ease federal workers' pain during the government shutdown.

"Z-Burger" restaurant, on Wisconsin Avenue, is offering federal workers one free burger starting on Monday, April 11th.

The restaurant will require a federal ID per day, as long as the government is shut down.

Z-Burger has the more health conscious burger eaters in mind as well. They are offering free turkey burgers and veggie burgers in place of regular single burgers, for those who chose the more healthy option.

The offer is valid for one per person and one per day and only redeemable at Z-Burger's Tenleytown location (4321 Wisconsin Ave).
