Make Kids Pay Student Loans

WASHINGTON (WUSA) -- Alright, parents... we know you want your children to live smart. But, there is one instance where you should not come to their financial rescue.

The experts at Bankrate.com say make your kids pay their own student loans.

If they're having trouble, you can help them rework their monthly budget or prioritize their obligations.  A few cutbacks here and there can go a long way.

But in the end, financial planners say pay back, should be your child's responsibility even if they need to seek out an additional job.
