VIENNA, Va. (WUSA) -- Jenny Schwab is trying to capture the mood and spirit of Inauguration Day. The pictures and the paper have to be just right for this avid scrapbooker.
"If you don't have a straight or sharp pair of scissors or a blade goes dull, you're going to have a rigid line," says Jenny.
On these pages there is no room for error. So we sent Jenny the Craft Lite Cutter. It promises no more mistakes or ruined projects.
Lesli and Jenny take a look at the box of promises. "It trims perfectly every time, helps you keep your borders, and ideal for scrapbooking, we'll see."
Jenny puts the cutter through the paces. She straightlines, waves and stamps her way through plenty of paper and pictures. She says the light on the device makes all the difference.
"You can actually see where your blade is going," says Jenny.
She likes the changeable blades and gives them high marks for safety. The blades aren't exposed until you apply pressure.
Jenny has spent countless hours cutting and crafting her way through hundreds of pages. They are a catalog of her life's journey, and a labor of love and remembrance.
"Memories, so that when I'm long gone, my kids have photos of their parents, and their family."
On this day, the focus is on America's first family. She places several pictures of President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama on her pages. And, after plenty of perfect cuts, we wanted to know, would she try it again?
"Absolutely!" says Jenny. "It's staying out on the scrapbooking table from now on."
