Tax filing help: tax expert answers your questions

(WUSA9) -- Your federal income taxes are due one month from Saturday. Some of you had questions before that deadline. Jessica Doyle passed your tax problems and questions along to Linda de Marlo, the president of Tax Masters.

Among some of the questions:

Who needs an accountant?

Same sex marriages are recognized in Maryland and D.C. but not Virginia. What are the rules for filing if you are a same sex couple?

Who gets the child tax credit in a divorce?
