MommyDocs is Jamie A. Freishtat, M.D. and Rachel L. Schreiber, M.D living in the Washington, DC area who operate MommyDocs.com, a site providing practical pediatric information for moms, by moms. In February, they were asked to be guest hosts on The Doctors show airing weekdays at 4:00pm in Washington, DC on WUSA 9 (check local listings if you're not in the DC area). MomsLikeMe gave the MommyDocs a flipcam to document their entire trip so they could share it with you!

Day 1
We’re off! Join us as we leave home and travel to Hollywood to tape for “The Doctors.” From our drive to Dulles (we almost get lost), to our flight (check out our nutritious food and “intellectual” magazines) to our drive to Paramount/CBS Studios in Hollywood (our driver had just driven Fran Drescher, a.k.a “The Nanny”), you’ll see how we felt almost famous.

Day 2
It’s show time! You’ll get a true behind-the-scenes look at the production of “The Doctors.” We’ll take you to wardrobe, hair, and make up, but best of all you’ll meet Dr. Travis Stork and the other Doctors hosts! After the show we meander around LA in search of star sightings. We are short on time so we decide to be true tourists and go on a Celebrity Home Bus Tour. We see lots of Beverly Hills houses, but can’t seem to find the owners! Then it’s back to the hotel to rest up for our trip home.

Day 3
Well, of course the trip was much too quick. Too soon, we’re back on that flight to D.C. Our eyes are a little red from partying all night (as if!), our hair is a little greasy (it would have really been a shame to wash it the day after having it “done”), and overall, we’re a little bit sad that it’s all over. But we’re excited to get back home, share our fun, and watch the show!
