Jose is no longer a hurricane but will persist as a tropical or post-tropical storm for several more days. This means that the rip tide risk and high surf at the Mid-Atlantic beaches will persist through the weekend.

Here's the latest satellite and advisory from the National Hurricane Center:

Tropical Satellite

The track of Jose keeps it off the Long Island coast through the weekend.

DelMarVa Impact:
Jose will spin a few hundred miles northeast of the DeMarVa. Dangerous rip currents and large swells are expected. The worst of Jose will still remain offshore.
