WASHINGTON (WUSA) — "Colin Kaepernick is a good football player, hasn't played in a while. These things are going to continue to be discussed,"- Texans coach Bill O'Brien

“If he signs on a team, we would definitely want to sign him.”- Adidas executive Mark King

According the ESPN's Adam Schefter, Kaepernick would have had a workout with the Seattle Seahawks, but it was postponed after he "declined to stop kneeling during the national anthem next season.”

In the past six months, there have been a lot of would haves and could haves being tossed around regarding the former San Francisco quarterback Colin Kaepernick's future.

It seems like every NFL coach and recently apparel company Adidas, keep coming up with excuse after excuse not to give him a job.

It's true, Kaepernick hasn't played on an NFL team since the 2016 football season.

But if you stay he's not continuing to keep his body in football shape, that would be a lie.

I believe NFL owners and Adidas are just too afraid to say the real reason that they aren't willing to sign Kaepernick, which is we don't agree with your protest, and we don't want that distraction on our team.

Instead, everyone is tiptoeing around the reason, and using words like, would have, and could have.

Another NFL season will go by, and teams like the Browns(0-16), Colts(4-12), Texans(4-12), and Giants(3-13) will be using the words, "we should have".

Let's be honest.

The biggest statement any team, or national clothing line could make is to sign Colin Kaepernick.

Not only will it give a team a very good chance of winning a Super Bowl, but it will also let other people know that they too believe all people should be treated equally.
