Actor Patrick Warburton, who plays David Puddy in iconic TV sitcom "Seinfeld," reprised his role as the face-painting David Puddy during Wednesday night's New Jersey Devils game.

NEWARK, N.J. - The actor who portrays David Puddy in the television sitcom “Seinfeld” made quite the appearance during Game 4 of the NHL Eastern Conference quarterfinal matchup between the New Jersey Devils and Tampa Bay Lightning.

Actor Patrick Warburton – who played the on-again, off-again boyfriend of Elaine Benes in the TV series – attended Wednesday night’s Devils game to "support the team" at the Prudential Center.

Warburton painted his face just as he did in the 1995 episode of “Seinfeld” entitled “The Face Painter.”

The actor also took his Devils jersey off at one point and had a red “D” painted on his chest, just like the episode.

The Devils lost to the Lightning in Game 4 by a score of 3-1.

This year marks the Devils’ first playoff appearance since losing to the Los Angeles Kings in the 2012 Stanley Cup Finals. The Devils trail the series 3-1.

Game 5 is at 3 p.m. ET Saturday at Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida.
