The WUSA9 Verify team brought you story back in January 2018 about a phony free dog bed offer from the site Flip the Trend. We had lots of people respond to our story saying they too were ripped off by the company, paying for this shipping fee but NEVER getting their beds. Since then, the site is no longer up and running.
Experts from the Better Business Bureau in Chicago issued a warning in February about the company after they continued to get a steady flow of complaints coming in--the BBB follows a process of giving a company 10 to 20 day to respond, if no response comes to fix the problem, a warning is then pushed out by the Better Business Bureau.

Shortly after that warning was issued, Flip the Trend site shut down. And the company's Chicago based location-- the BBB tell us that too wasn't legit-- it's a fake address.
Unfortunately, if you didn't’ get a refund for the $4.99 shipping fee, the BBB said you may be out of luck since the company has pulled a disappearing act.
