On Wednesday October 18, neighbors say a woman was walking her dog when she saw a dismembered arm. After a search of the area, police found more skeletal remains.

The remains were transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for a post mortem examination. According to officials, the decedent is a Caucasian or Asian female, approximately mid-twenties to thirty years of age with an approximate height of 5’03. It is believed the remains are that of someone who went missing within the past year.

Officials continue to examine the remains in an attempt to identify the woman and learn the manner of death.
