WASHINGTON (WUSA) -- The Washington Animal Rescue League shared its pet of the week with us. Here's what Pam Townsend wrote about Bindi:
Bindi is something special. Born in the hills of rural West Virginia, this five-year-old's ancestry is something of a mystery...although she looks like a blue heeler/German shepherd mix. Bindi gets along well with other dogs but is far more interested in people. She's extremely affectionate and loves giving -- and getting -- attention. If you sit on the floor with her, she'll roll over in your lap for a tummy scratch and cuddle. And like many of us following the holiday season, Bindi is carrying a few extra pounds so she'd make the perfect new year's resolution weight-loss partner.
