Here are 5 happy hours to try on Tuesdays

If you're into tacos, Tuesday is your happy hour day. Check out these five D.C. bars for great deals on tacos, wings, games and, yes, fireball shots.

Bread Soda

WHAT: A neighborhood bar with lots of games

WHERE: Cleveland Park

THE DEAL: Tacos and ping pong. Table tennis is open from 5 p.m. to 2 a.m., plus you can get $3 tacos and $7 taco salads from noon to midnight

OTHER PERKS: Darts, shuffle board, chess, checkers, yahtzee and backgammon.



WHAT:American comfort food and cocktail lounge

WHERE: Mount Pleasant and Foggy Bottom

THE DEAL: Taco Tuesday in Mount Pleasant: $.50 tacos (FIFTY CENTS, PEOPLE) from 8 to 11 with any drink or appetizer purchase. Plus half off burgers, rail drinks and draft beers.

OTHER PERKS: If you're in Foggy Bottom, the deal is Hot Toddy Tuesday: hot toddies and boozy hot chocolate for $6 each.



WHAT: An enormous pub near Georgetown, usually great for dancing

WHERE: Foggy Bottom

THE DEAL: WTF Tuesdays for college kids. A student I.D. gets you $1 beer cans and $5 fireball shots.

OTHER PERKS: Open till 2 a.m. four nights per week


The Big Hunt

WHAT: One of D.C.'s oldest bars with three floors and a name that should be pronounced delicately

WHERE: Dupont

THE DEAL: 20. CENT. WINGS. Most D.C. bars did away with 25-cent wing night. But The Big Hunt gives them to you for 20 cents each on Tuesdays, plus $2.50 select beers and $3 rail drinks.

OTHER PERKS: Great burgers and hand-tossed pizza


H Street Country Club

WHAT: Games bar that offers Mexican food and a miniature golf course

WHERE: H Street

THE DEAL: Free mini golf with entrée purchase, $3 XX and bud light beers and $5 margaritas. Happy hour is all night long on Tuesdays!

OTHER PERKS: A rooftop deck, skeeball, shuffleboard and video games
