Corgi Fest coming to Tysons this weekend

WASHINGTON (WUSA9) - Dog lovers, rejoice. The corgis are coming.

Derpin’ in DC is hosting its 4th annual “Corgtober Fest" on Sunday, October 8. Corgi owners and lovers are encouraged to come together to mingle and appreciate the lovable dog breed. The event will be at Tysons Biergarten starting at 3 p.m. and will include a costume contest, corgi race, and a raffle.

Vendors will be donating a percentage of their sales to a rescue organization and Tysons Biergarten will be donating $2 for everyone who shows the Corgtober Fest logo at the door. A portion of sales will also be donated during “Corgi Happy Hour” from 4 to 5 p.m.

Corgi owners are asked to not bring their dogs inside the venue and to keep them leashed. There will be an outside fenced space available. Dog breeds other than corgis are also welcome.
