8 Nigerian goats come to Maryland Zoo in Baltimore

The Baltimore Zoo has welcome some new goats.

BALTIMORE, MD. (WUSA9) - Eight furry additions have joined the Maryland Zoo in Baltimore. Nigerian goats have come all the way from Chicago’s Brookfield Zoo to join 13 other goats in the Goat Corral.

And the two-and-a-half-year old goats have already begun romping around. “They are young and energetic, so with a total of 21 goats in residence now, the Goat Corral is extremely full of activity!” said Erin Cantell, mammal collection and conservation manager.

According to Cantwell, their names are Armani, Maybelline, Clementine, Java Bean, Mia, Midge, Hoover, and Lieutenant. Some of the goats are siblings.
