WASHINGTON (WUSA) -- Andrea and I had the pleasure of attending a special event Wednesday: the open house for the new Breast Imaging Center at Shady Grove Hospital.

It's a warm, caring environment, and it's helpful at an anxious time for most women -- even if it's just a regular screening visit.

The center is led by three dynamic women: Doctors Velma Casanova, Renu Berry and Sonya Kella, who is the medical director.
