WASHINGTON (WUSA) -- A survey from Inspirato finds that Washingtonians are the most vacation hungry city in the nation. According to the survey, 58 percent of workers with paid vacation time say they'd trade other workplace benefits -- such as bonuses, promotions, or a private office -- for more paid time off.

Despite their thirst for vacation, D.C. employees don't end up using 30 percent of their paid time off. The survey from Inspirato found that across the nation 57 percent of people don't use up all their vacation time. People get about 19 paid days off a year on average.
