WOODBRIDGE, Va. (WUSA) -- Later Tuesday morning, fire investigators will resume their search for what caused a huge apartment fire in Woodbridge, Virginia.

One firefighter was hurt battling Monday night's blaze at the Gemstone Apartments. The complex is on Gemstone Drive, just a few blocks away from Prince William Plaza.

The firefighter is expected to recover. No one else was hurt.

The fire forced about a dozen families out of their homes.
