Who is the real HU? 100 year old football rivalry kicks off

In the year 1984 a rivalry that had been brewing for years was finally at it's peak. The former Hampton Institute took the name Hampton University thanks to it's newly acquired University status and Howard University, the "mecca" of  HBCU's was now faced with a dilemma - who is the REAL "HU"?

The football game which takes place this weekend at RFK Stadium is not the only attraction. Beyond the game, the event features jaw-dropping halftime performances from the critically acclaimed pep bands and cheer squads, a student debate, a business startup pitching competition, concerts, and an opportunity for two HBCUs to reunite professors, alumni, current students, and anyone interested in HBCU culture.

The events start as early as Thursday but the big game is on Saturday. This college rivalry is definitely one for the ages. Check out all the info here: http://www.nationsfootballclassic.com/
