What CBS TV shows were cancelled or renewed?

All good things must come to an end and CBS has canceled 8 of their TV shows.  Fortunately, you can look forward to six new shows.  Here's the full scoop on what you can expect to see -- and not see -- in the fall lineup:

Not returning in the fall

2 Broke Girls

CBS canceled the comedy "2 Broke Girls" after a 6 season run. After losing around 2 million viewers by the end of season 6, CBS decided it was best to nix the show. It had been receiving consistently low ratings, with a 58% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes

The Odd Couple

Starring Matthew Perry and Thomas Lennon, "The Odd Couple" was canceled after a mere 3 seasons. With average ratings including a 6.4 on IMDB, the show was vetoed by CBS to make room for new ones.

Amongst other shows canceled were American Gothic, BrainDead, Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders, Doubt, The Great Indoors, and Rush Hour.

New shows added to the lineup

Young Sheldon

With the incredible success of hit show "The Big Bang Theory", CBS has decided to create a spin off about main character Sheldon Cooper's earlier years. The show is highly anticipated and will premiere on Monday, September 25th of 2017.

Candy Crush

This new game show hosted by Mario Lopez focuses on the worldwide phenomenon known as Candy Crush. The game show is basically an intense version of the Candy Crush app, just with a huge amount of money at stake! It premieres Sunday, July 9.

Me, Myself, & I

After 9 hilarious years at "Saturday Night Live", Bobby Moynihan has embarked on a new adventure. His new show, "Me, Myself, & I" centers around the three crucial ages of a man's life: Age 14, 40, and 65. The show is set to air on Monday, September 25th.

Familiar faces you'll see again

There are also many successful shows that CBS has renewed for the 2017-2018 seasons. This includes: The Big Bang Theory, NCIS, Madam Secretary, Criminal Minds, and more! See the full list here.
