Weekend Guide: Labor Day Edition! September 2 - September 5

Labor Day Weekend means a 3 day weekend and while #TropicalStormHermine is busy getting things wet down south, we want to enjoy our last unofficial weekend of the summer with these top picks!

"Icebergs" at The National Building Museum: It's the last weekend to "chill" out with the most instagrammable spot of the summer! Designed by James Corner Field Operations (which also created New York’s High Line) you don't want to miss these 56 ft tall mountain peaks - inside!

Wonder Twins, GO!: The Baltimore "Comic-Con" is back and Saturday is going to be one for the books! Meet the stars of "The Flash" and "Agent Carter" as well as hear tons of panels from the latest and greatest in the industry. Don't forget your costume!

#BeyDay is Saturday: Saturday is the Queen Beyonce's birthday and DC is celebrating this holiday with tons of dance parties, DJs and awesome live music. Head to The Rock and Roll Hotel for their Beyonce vs. Jay-Z DJ party or line up your single ladies and go to Tropicalia for their Beyonce Bash with cake and awesome drink specials.

Everybody say "Ohm": Dumbarton House in DC is holding one of it's outdoor "Serenity Yoga" sessions this Sunday! Practice your breathing and stretching while in a beautiful outdoor garden. It's BYOM (Bring Your Own Mat)

Party like a Virginian: Monday the Herndon Labor Day Festival on the Herndon Town Green is a huge family fun event with live music, free admission for kids and for the big kids - wine tastings and craft breweries galore. Thanks 'murica.

Oh, Those Summer Nights: Monday before you head back to school the AFI Silver in Silver Spring, Md. is showing the classic movie musical "Grease" AND it's a sing-a-long! So grab your popcorn and poodle skirts and get ready to belt out a tune with the kids.
