The Quebe Sisters, a fiddle trio from Texas, performing in DMV

The Quebe Sisters, from Texas, grace the Great Day Washington stage, on their way to performance at Wolf Trap barns.

Hulda, Grace and Sophia Quebe are triple-threat fiddle champions known as The Quebe Sisters (rhymes with 'maybe')

The Quebe Sisters are a band rooted in traditional Texas music with a unique blend of triple fiddles and vocal harmonies backed by a rhythm section of archtop guitar and upright bass.

Talk about sibling harmony.

The sisters were 7, 10 and 12 in 1998 when they attended their first local fiddle competition in nearby Denton, and decided fiddling was what they wanted to do.

Now, they are touring around the country and bringing their all-American sound to the DMV and sharing it with Great Day Washington viewers.

The Quebe Sisters are playing The Barns at Wolf Trap in Vienna, VA on Friday, November 17th.

On Saturday November 18th, they will perform at Creative Alliance in Baltimore.
