DC was named "Restaurant City of the Year" by Bon Appetit so it's no surprise that as fall rolls in we want to saddle up with some good ol' comfort food. Here's our picks for top 5 best burgers around town!

1. Duke's Grocery, 17th St. Washington, DC

With a daily changing menu Duke's offers a variety of burgers - most recent the "Proper Burger" with local angus beef, chili sauce, garlic aioli and charred red onions. Drool worthy.

2. 2941 Restaurant, Falls Church, Va.

"The Daffy" burger - named for it's funny friend Daffy Duck - is a delicious duck burger with foie gras and onion agrodolce (sweet and sour sauce!)

3. Proof, G St. NW, Washington, DC

The Proof "Shrimp Burger" with jalapeño, shaved cucumber, cilantro, pickled daikon & carrots is so popular it's on all of their menus. Pair it with a crisp white wine and you're #FallReady.

Looking to satisfy your breakfast craving all day? BurgerFi's epic "All Day Breakfast Burger" is complete with a hash brown, fried egg and maple syrup. Good MORNING to you!

5. Big Buns, Arlington, Va.

The "Sea Salt N’ Peppa" might be one of the most unique burgers around! made with bison meat and house brined pickles this won't bust your gut but will keep you craving more. For those gluten-free folks you can't opt for a burger bowl!
