Simple salmon recipe with fresh vegetables

Former Hells Kitchen star, Chef JR Robinson, shares his scrumptious recipe for blackened salmon over a bed of garlic squash spaghetti.  An easy, healthy dish you can try it at home! 

 

 

Ingredients

1 6oz salmon

1 yellow squash ( Spiralized)

1 green squash

1/2 red beet

2 cloves fresh garlic (chopped)

1 sprig of Thyme

1t salt

1t black pepper

1t Cajun season

1T olive oil

2cups of Love

Cooking method

Pre heat your oven at 375 degrees, then get started on prep.

Step 1 Spiralize your squash, beet and chop your Garlic.

Step 2 season salmon with 1/2 the salt, pepper and Cajun season.

Step 3 place a small pan on high heat add 1/2 oil and pan sear salmon for 2mins toss the thyme in and place in oven for 10 mins.

Step 4 place a med pan in your stove on med heat, add oil then place garlic and squash and cook for about 3 mins.

Step 5 Chef JR says show your dish some love. For example don't forget your salmon in the oven or over cook your veggies! Have fun and enjoy your master piece.
