Pan seared salmon with orange ginger glaze

Want to eat like a golf pro?  Heres a favorite recipe from TPC Potomac's Executive Chef, David Trevlino.  It's a healthy salmon dish that's as easy as 1-2-3!
 
 
 
1.  Rub salmon with salt and pepper
2.  Pan sear until golden brown
3.  Brushed with orange ginger glaze
 
Orange ginger glaze:
 
Ingredients:
1 cup orange juice
1 small shallot finely chopped
½ cup of white wine
2 orange zest
2 tbs of butter
1 small piece of fresh ginger finely chopped
Season salt and pepper
 
Cooking Instructions:
 
Bring wine/ shallots/ ginger to a simmer and reduce by ¼
Add 1 cup orange juice to reduction finish the sauce with butter and orange zest.
 
Grilled vegetables brushed with olive oil and herbs (basil, cilantro, thyme) make the perfect side dish!
