4 ways to amp up your workout

Working out can be mundane if you do the same routines everyday! Thanks to Coach G of Coach G Fitness, here are some great moves to spice up your workout! 

 

 

 

1. Beating weight-loss plateaus

PLANK VARIATIONS- NORMAL PLANK, PLANK + LEG LIFT, PLANK + REACH

When you do the same exercises everyday, your muscles gets used to it and doesn't burn as many calories. To avoid this, you need to add variations to your workouts! Put a twist on the classic plank position by stretching out your arm! You can also do leg lifts while planking, or do a plank into a pushup! 

 

2. Rest those muscles

With every workout your muscles are tearing down a little bit so that they build back up stronger, but too much repeat impact isn't good. For intense workouts, you should give your muscle time to repair with low-intensity workouts in between. 

 

 3. Beating Boredom 

PARTNER EXERCISES- KARATE KID

Add some excitement to your routine by bringing along a buddy! Having a friend can make workouts much more tolerable and enjoyable! One fun workout is seeing how high your partner can kick over your arms! 

 

4. Find some Fun! 

DANCE MOVES

Working out isn't only about toning your body; it's also about having a great time! Dancing is a perfect way to have fun while working out, and awesome to do with a friend!
