Gravity, 12 Years A Slave win big at BAFTA Awards

(WUSA9) -- The big winners at the final award show before the Oscars were "Gravity" and "12 Years a Slave."

The British Academy of Film and Television Arts awards were handed out Sunday night.

Cate Blanchett won Best Actress for her role in Blue Jasmine and Chiwetel Ejiofor took best Actor honors for "12 Years A Slave." The film also won for best film.

"Gravity" won for best director, best British film and best special effects.
