The National Cherry Blossom Festival is the nation's greatest springtime celebration. The 2014 Festival, March 20 – April 13, includes three spectacular weeks and four weekends of events featuring diverse and creative programming promoting traditional and contemporary arts and culture, natural beauty, and community spirit.

Grandstand seats are still available for the National Cherry Blossom Festival Paradeâ presented by Events DC on Saturday, April 12, along Constitution Avenue from 7th to 17th Street, NW! See it in person from 10:00 AM – Noon, or right here on WUSA 9 from Noon – 2:00 PM. Exciting celebrity talent includes Candice Glover, winner of American Idol, multiple Grammy award-winning artist Sheena Easton, pop sensation and hip hop singer Aaron Carter, R&B and Gospel Grammy award-winning artist Regina Belle, Grand Marshal Darrell Green, former cornerback from the Washington Redskins and Pro Football Hall of Fame member, and so much more! Norah O'Donnell, co-anchor of CBS This Morning, joins WUSA 9 News anchors Andrea Roane and Mike Hydeck as Parade hosts. Giant colorful helium balloons, elaborate floats, marching bands from across the country, and performers burst down Constitution Avenue in a grand spectacle of music and showmanship seen only once a year during the National Cherry Blossom Festival. Standing along the Parade route is free.
