WASHINGTON (WUSA) -- The Hill newspaper is out with its annual list of the richest lawmakers in Congress.
Topping the list is Republican Congressman Michael McCaul from Texas. He's worth $290.5 million.
In a distant second is Democratic Senator John Kerry of Massachusetts. He's worth nearly $199 million.
Virginia Senator Mark Warner came in fifth with $85.9 million.
Three Democrats made the top five, but overall there were only 19 Democrats in the top 50.
