(WUSA) -- Prince William, Duke of Cambridge was installed into the historic Order of the Thistle in a ceremony on Thursday in Edinburgh, Scotland.

The Queen, the Duke of Edinburgh and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, attended the ceremony.
