The trading of both Young and McGee means that the Wizards did not plan on re-signing either impending free agent. Great job by Ernie Grunfeld to get something for the pair of knuckleheads.

WASHINGTON (WUSA) -- According to multiple reports, the Washington Wizards have agreed to trade both JaVale McGee and Nick Young as part of a three team trade involving the Denver Nuggets and Los Angeles Clippers.

The schematics of the trade go as follows:

Washington acquires: Nene, Brian Cook and a Second Round Pick (from LAC)

Denver acquires: JaVale McGee and Ronny Turiaf

Los Angeles acquires: Nick Young

Nene, 29, is a Brazilian native and regarded as one of the most efficient big men in the NBA. The 6-foot-11 center is averaging 13.4 points per game and 7.4 rebounds a contest.

McGee, 24, is having his best statistical season as a Wizards, but arguably his worst mentally. The impending free agent's constant gaffes have been repeatedly mocked by the media and fans. McGee was in the middle of his fourth season in Washington.

Young, is set to turn 27-years-old in June. The shooting guard is averaging 16.6 points per game and 1.1 assists. He was in the middle of his fifth season in Washington.
