In Japan, zoo workers learn how to capture an escaped rhino by learning to corral this papier mache version.
TOKYO (WUSA) - What does a zoo do if a rhino escapes?
Zoo staffers in Japan got a chance to test their rhino-wrangling skills in a unique drill on Wednesday. A life-size papier mache replica of a rhino, with two workers inside, was used in a demonstration of how to cope with a rhino on the run after an earthquake.
With nets and tranquilizer darts, staffers played their roles with calm efficiency, and the rhino was successfully corralled.
