WASHINGTON, DC (WUSA) -- Best Buy makes a change to keep customers inside its stores.

The big box chain will now guarantee to match the price of all local and nearly 20 major online competitors.

The struggling chain says the move is to stop shoppers from "showrooming."

It's when they come into the store, browse the prices and then buy the same product online cheaper.

And, that money-saving option has caused Best Buy to loose lots of business to discount and online retailers like Amazon
