An EF1 tornado hit Salisbury, Md. on Monday afternoon, the National Weather Service confirmed Tuesday.
NWS conducted a survey in Salisbury, Md. and confirmed a tornado hit the area.

According to NWS, the tornado was very quick with winds up to 105 miles per hour. Officials say it was most intense when it touched down at a shopping center just north of Salisbury University.
The NWS is still surveying two possible tornadoes in Ocean City, Md. and Nassawadox, Va.
