It's a given expectation that professional athletes give back to the community they work in. That's what makes random acts of kindness that much more special.
On Tuesday, a kid was at an area Gamestop wanting an Xbox One for his birthday. The only problem was his parents couldn't afford it. Insert Redskins running backs Rob Kelley and Keith Marshall.
The two Redskins players overheard the kid and told him that they wanted to buy him an Xbox, and that he should check with his mom to make sure it was okay.
The kid went to get his mom, and she went into the store wondering who would want to buy her son an Xbox."
Keith Marshall, who's injured told the mom, "Ma’am, my name is Keith Marshall and this is Rob Kelley. We play for the Washington Redskins and we would love to buy your son an Xbox one for his birthday.”
Facebook user Joey Snapp witnessed the random act of kindness, and says, "It was such a good moment from 2 guys who I will forever be a fan of from this day on."
It's a safe bet that the kid who received an Xbox will be a fan of the two players as well.
